MWR Special Events Volunteers needed for 31 March Easter Event: MWR needs volunteers who are willing to help them out. Can you
please help spread the word for their Easter Event that will take place on 31 March starting at 1100? Please see message from Caité
Kendrick: you will need to contact her directly for more information. Her contact information is below and this is a great volunteer
opportunity for high school students or Soldiers who would like to add hours towards the MOVSM. We are in the process of gearing up for
the Easter Egg Hunt and Activities on Easter Sunday, 31 MAR. This event has grown exponentially in the last few years and last year they had
a crowd of more than 3,000 Soldiers and Families that joined us at Riley’s Conference Center. I am contacting you today because we are in
need of some help to make this year’s event a success. We need volunteers to help with the various youth activities at the event. With
staffing challenges we just don’t have enough personnel to man all of the activities that we would like to provide for this event. We are
asking that volunteers be on site from 1100-1500, although we will take any help we can get. We will supply all of the equipment and
supplies for the activities. Activities will include things like sidewalk chalk, bubbles, hula hoops, bean bag toss, basketball shoot and
inflatables. Please let me know if anyone from your organization would be willing to help out. Volunteers can contact me directly.
