A thousand times we needed you
A thousand times we cried
A thousand times we died
You never would have died
A heart of gold stopped beating
Two twinkling eyes closed to rest
Destiny broke our hearts to prove he
only was the best
Never a day goes by that you’re not in
our heart and my soul.
How long the days go slowly
My lord, my lord!
All guards, all people kneel down before
the coffin
A great man he was, A great man he is
The priest and everyone sends their will
